The Gardens is a neighbourhood in New Zealand’s city of Auckland. It is east of Wiri, south of Totara Heights, and east of Manurewa East.
It used to be run by the Manukau City Council, but in 2010 it was merged with all of Auckland’s councils to make the “super city” of Auckland. It is now run by the Auckland Council, which is a local government.
On the west side, you can find the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
The Gardens is a neighbourhood that is part of the Auckland Territorial Authority. It is one of the larger area’s 269 residential suburbs. The Gardens is the 137th largest suburb in Auckland based on the number of homes there.
In The Gardens, there are many places to live, including the oldest homes in the area, which were built between 1930 and 1939. Most of the homes in the area were built between the years 2000 and 2009.
